Artist's Description
This is a view of the lighthouse at Fort Constitution as seen from Fort Stark in New Castle, New Hampshire. Both forts are open to the public and have easy trails to walk.I was taking a break from my oil paints and played a little with gouache (which is an opaque water-based pigment, similar to watercolor). I had some 140 lb. Canson rough paper in stock so that is what I used for the illustration. The matted picture is 9" X 12".
