I made a glass mezuzah last year. It was the first time I had worked with glass and I was happy with the way it turned out. I took a photo and set it up as a new year card. The colored glass on the front is the Hebrew letter "Shin" which is an abbreviation for "Shomer Daltot Yisrael", Guardian of the doors/gates of Israel, also for "Almighty" "Shaddai".
