Artist's Description
I created a Jewish new year card from my oil painting of Tsfat (Safed), home of the mystics that created the Kabbalah. Tsfat is built on a hill and more hills/mountains are visible nearby. May we all be blessed in this new year with good health, joy and peace and hopefully, not too many mountains (obstacles) to climb. The Hebrew words are the traditional ones for a good and sweet new year. The Jewish new year for 2015 starts at sunset on Sunday, Sept. 13th (Jewish year 5776, 1st Tishri)
