Pomegranates are symbols in both Chinese and Jewish cultures. The original painting is done with Chinese pigments on double shuan paper. I have sold some of these as plain prints, and many with words in Hebrew, and/or English for Happy new year (Rosh Hashanah). This image has also been used in several newsletters.
