Artist's Description
I don't usually do abstract paintings, (although this one is still representational) but I had been thinking about this one for a long time. The Chopin piece is from a section of the Funeral March, not the section that most people recognize. My father always loved that part when I played it on the piano. He passed his love of music on to me, and I passed it on to my children. The instruments represent my family.
