The beginning of the Fletcher Cascade trail is easy. It gets harder as you ascend, but is worth the hike. The Cascade (waterfall over steps of rocks) is beautiful in any season. The trail is off the Drake's Brook trail in Campton/Waterville Valley in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
