My husband was fishing at the First Connecticut Lake in Pittsburg, New Hampshire. The birch tree was half dead (half alive?) and I thought made an interesting composition. Pittsburg is at the top of the state of NH, bordering on Canada. I think there are more moose there than people. Route 3 is also known as "Moose Alley".
