Artist's Description

I spent a weekend in Tsfat (Safed), Israel with a friend in 2012. It was at the end of winter and the grasses and leaves were starting to turn green. We walked around on Friday evening and I noticed the lights on the temple in the distance. I'm glad that I took a photo. Tsfat (Safed) is the home of the mystics who were involved with writing the Kabbalah. Tsfat is built on a hill. There is a large cemetery below. I only painted a little bit of it in this painting.

My husband encouraged me to take art classes and try something new. My poems are now available as e-books on Amazon (Kindle) and for the Nook on...
