Artist's Description
I spent a weekend in Tsfat (Safed), Israel with a friend in 2012. It was at the end of winter and the grasses and leaves were starting to turn green. Tsfat (Safed) is the home of the mystics who were involved with writing the Kabbalah. Tsfat is built on a hill. There is a large cemetery below. I only painted a little bit of it in this painting.
